Some of you have known me for many years now. You may also know that I have many of these strange fears, as demonstrated by my behavior while watching the movie Finding Nemo, walking underneath the giant whale at the museum, looking at the sky for a long period of time, flushing the toilet on an airplane being in the presence of Bum Face (his name has been changed to protect his identity), a clown, a dinosaur, a piece of rock melon, a fire engine or a talking tree. Although this may seem strange, there is a reason behind it all.

My Top 10 Irrational Fears - and the stories behind them.
oh yeah and sorry there's actually only eight but top eight sounds crap, not as good as top ten.

Fear #8 ~ Talking Trees
My Aunty is a pupeteer. She does kids parties. In one of her gigs, she dressed up as a tree. If a tree talked to you, would you be scared??

Fear #7 ~ All Forms of Aquatic Life, But Mostly Whales
When I was young, my father took me to watch a harmless little movie called Pinocchio. It was alllll fun and games until Giuseppe got swallowed by the whale. That part really freaked me out. So now every time I watch a movie that involves whales (i.e. Finding Nemo), or hear some sort of whale song, or walk under the giant whale in Brisbane, I get a little shakey.
I think dolphins are evil. THEY ARE NO NO CUTE. They have sharp teeth, and they're really smart. One day they will take over the world and force all of mankind to be slaves. This thought probably just sneaked into my mind from reading too many Douglas Adams novels (it's a trilogy of five! ^_^) and past memories of Mrs Tremellon soothing dolphin noise music in year sev that she used to play during class. I HATE THAT MUSIC SO MUCH it follows me everywhere!!! Even when I fall asleep I can still hear the soft EHHH EHHRRHHs of the dolphins. Don't like fish either.

Fear #6 ~ Dinosaurs and Fire Engines
When I was still a little toddler, Mum used to take me on frequent trips to Dream World, the local theme park. For some reason they had life-sized dinosaurs that moved and made loud noises on display. It would scare any child! I was also scared several times by tsimilar displys in nearby museums. I was so scared of dinosaurs that Mum says when I saw a picture of a dinosaur I would start crying. She had to check the next page of the picture books she read to me so that I wouldn't get a suprise attack. She also had to check for pictures of fire engines because I thought that everytime there was a fire engine, it meant there was a fire so...

Fear #5 ~ Clowns
It's so cliché, but I have to admit, I really do not like clowns. My first bad clown experience was again at Dream World when I was around two or three. Goldie the clown seemed to be where ever I was at the time. Mum knew Goldie made me upset, so she tried to get him off her tail. Sadly it didn't work and I was left scared for life. My most recent bad clown experience was in China, you can check it out in my previous China blogs.

Fear #4 ~ The Sky
No reason, I just get nervous at the thought of all that unlimited space! If I stare at the sky too much, will I fall in it?

Fear #3 ~ Rock Melon
It smells like vomit and its the most disgusting fruit ever.
Fear #2 ~ 'Bum Face' and Possibly You
Oh, I really don't like him. I'm not going to tell you why either. And the reason I dont like you is because well... why don't you go look in the mirror and tell me JKS love youuu
Fear #1 ~ Flushing the Toilet in the Airplane
It makes a loud noise zmm
