On the Easter holidays of 2007, my Chinese class and I set out on a wicked awesome fully super turbo charged study tour to China. I kept a journal, but I want to keep an electronic version. It might take a while to put this together so bear with me!

CHINA TRIP ‘07

Kaya – she flirts with a boy, but when they ask her out she says no and they’re like wtf

Daniel – his favourite sport is wrestling and one of his shirts has a picture of a half naked wrestler dude on it. Gross?

Ben – also known as Grandpa Ben. Don’t ask. He thinks he’s a rebel. One time, we were getting back on the bus and the teacher made him sit up the front for being naughty. We thought he did something really bad like take drugs or buy flavoured water (we weren’t allowed to buy any sugary drinks) but it just turned out that he stepped over a plant.

Nathan – Esther loves him even though he’s vain and looks at himself in everything that reflects his own image e.g. mirrors, cars, windows, my sunglasses, MY PUPILS, and sometimes even MacDonald’s hamburger because there is so much grease in them. Did I mention Esther LOVES him?

Brayden – freak

Luke – he’s English, but he came from Hong Kong so he has this really annoying English accent like, ‘ooooooohhhhh woooood yeeeoooooo laaaiiik a cap o teeeeeeeeee?’ (That’s Luke for ‘oh would you like a cup of tea?’).
