day 1

DAY 1 Friday, 6th April
-Plane trip-
We just got on the plane and what luck I have! I’m sitting in between the two most annoying boys in school! Nathan twitches in his sleep and I’m being flooded by Luke’s dribble. I was considering buying a raincoat, but maybe that’s too harsh. Oh well, only !7 HOURS! of annoying-ness to go.

Now we are at our stop over in Singapore. They have travelators and cool thingies that massage your feet and stuff. What the hell do Singapore people have a thing for fake flowers? They’re everywhere I go! Maybe there are hidden cameras in them and they’re making sure we don’t smuggle in illegal drugs or chewing gum. Got to go now and fill out immigration cards now. Omg this card is weird. One of the questions is ‘Do you have a snivel?’ wtf

-Tanya is a Bumface-
Now we’re in China. Wow man! =.= It’s so big, it’s like the whole of Australia in one city!!! Yay. Shanghai is pretty but there are a lot of pick-pockets. We went walking along Nianjing street (spell check?!?). Our tour guide, Tanya, told us that on this street alone, she had had her phone and/or her wallet stolen fives times in one year. Yeah thanks a bunch Tanya, that made me feel a lot more safer then I already was.
